NG-CDFC Committee Members

The National Government Constituency Development Fund Committee (NG-CDFC) of Emuhaya Constituency NG-CDF represents local communities in identifying, prioritizing, and overseeing development projects funded under the Act.

Statutory Committee Governance (Section 43)

Each Constituency Committee comprises ten members appointed for a two-year term, including male and female adult representatives, male and female youth representatives, a representative of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), two constituency nominees, the Fund Account Manager (ex-officio secretary), and the Deputy County Commissioner.

Statutory Functions of the Constituency Committee

Pursuant to the NG-CDF Act 2015 and Public Finance Management (PFM) regulations, the NG-CDFC executes:

Section 27(1)

Public Participation

Convenes open ward forums for citizen deliberation and prioritization of community infrastructure projects.

Section 31

Annual Proposals

Compiles, verifies, and submits annual project proposals to the NG-CDF Board for statutory approval under Section 31.

Section 48

Bursary Administration

Vets, allocates, and audits transparent education bursary funds across all secondary schools and tertiary institutions.

Section 43(2)

Project Monitoring (M&E)

Conducts routine field inspections, validates Project Management Committee (PMC) records, and signs off works.
